How Signet works
A passport for every product, and nothing it shouldn’t say.
01
One record per product
Name, icon, links, source and stack live in one canonical Passport. Every other system resolves the product through it instead of keeping its own copy.
02
Private until published
Every field is private by default. Publishing makes a page from the same record, so the public Passport can never drift from what is true.
$ signet products context sessionwatcher { "ok": true, "data": { … } }
03
Readable by agents
The same Passport is a JSON document, a CLI and a stable API. An agent working a support ticket gets the product's whole identity in one call.
For makers
Give every product one canonical identity.
Start with a name. Signet fills in the rest from the address, keeps it private until you publish, and hands it to every system that asks.
